The Nature Park House

Nature Park House Trudner Horn The Nature Park House Trudner Horn is located in the an old electric mill. The three story building has been completely renovated and the mill has been made functional again.
The area outside the house is planted with the typical porphyry and limestone vegetation and has a pond for amphibians, a herb garden and a small cornfield.
Visitors can find information about the natural and cultural landscape of the park, as well as the cultural history of the area. Information about hiking tours is also available.

The top floor of the building is used for temporary exhibitions. School classes can use it as a teaching area.
Many interesting issues of the Trudner Horn Nature Park are treated in the different areas of the house.
In one area, a general overview of South Tyrol's nature parks is presented. A model of the Truden fault line offers an insight into the geology of the region. As the forests with their different levels of altitude are of vital importance to the park, dioramas about forests and the characteristics of the wood are shown. Typical examples of plants and animals are exhibited in order to underline the outstanding diversity of species in the park. The most important elements of the cultural landscape are highlighted in the section dedicated to the larch fields and moors.
'
In a projection room, films and slides about the nature parks and other issues are shown.
